1954 Elgin Saratoga

Introduced in 1953, Elgin started shipping watches with automatic movements made in Switzerland. The Saratoga uses the 645, 17 jewel movement.
The case number is 6809 and it is 10K filled.
The Saratoga is a neat little watch with hooded lugs, giving it a more formal look. I put it on a Keleran, Ostrich leg strap, to match the elegance of the case.
