I think this is the 1953 Elgin Curtis. It features the 673, 17 jewel, 4 adj, manual wind movement.  It dates to 1953.  The case number is 6526.

The case is 10k gold filled with a stainless steel back.

The obvious feature of the watch is the integrated Hadley band the matches the bezel.

Pretty sharp little guy.
