1942 Lord Elgin 4609A

This Lord Elgin is from 1942.  From the catalogue, it is number 4609A.  It has a 14K gold filled case and uses the 21 jewel, 559 movement.

The case is highlighted by interesting lug design.  The dial, which is in excellent shape, is two-tone, with a gold center and a white border.  Finally, it uses blued hands.  At some point, I’ll change the strap out to something more appropriate.
