Elgin 17 Jewels, Knurled Bezel “Gregory”

This is the Elgin Gregory. The 17 jewel model is from the late 1950s. It has a 10K gold filled bezel and a stainless steel back. It uses the 17 jewel, 712 movement. Luckily enough, I got this one with its box and original bracelet, which you can see in the ad below. Apparently, this model ran through the early 60s, upgrading to a 19 jewel movement at some point.

Added this to the collection, mostly for the knurled case.  It runs a 17 jewel, 712 movement, which was adjusted at the factory.  The case is 10k gold filled and the case back is stainless steel.
