Elgin Thin Thin “27” G

I picked up this little jewel off eBay the other day.  It is an Elgin, with the 761, 27 jewel American made and designed automatic movement.  This model sports the Horizon Look crystal.

The case back is 2434.

The case itself is in near perfect condition, as is the dial.  The only things I had to do is reseat the hands that came loose during shipping and buff the crystal of a decent amount of scratches. (According to Diveboy, it uses the GS crystal PA-469-30)

Not only is the watch in great condition, it came with a period Kreisler center expansion band as well.

This is the Elgin stablemate of a similar design Lord Elgin with the 760 movement, which also is from the Horizon Look line.
