1929 Elgin 687

I’m trying to incorporate some earlier Elgins into my collection. My greatest hurdle is my lack of knowledge pre-1941. I’m not sure which if the movements or dials are correct and by the time I look it up to verify the correctness of the watch, it’s been sold. (Elgin didn’t stamp a caliber number on the movement or the case number onto the case back until the 1940s, making identifying these period watches difficult). But in this case, for this 1929 Elgin 687, it is all correct.

It has a nickeloid case, and a 15 jewel movement, caliber 428. The mesh bracelet isn’t original, but it was as close as I could match to the original. While the dial isn’t perfect, I haven’t found a NOS version, and to be honest, I’m fine with it.
