14K Elgin Case 4882

This Elgin uses the case number 4882 and it is 14k gold. The inscription on the back dates it to 1966 and coincidentally it was issued to an employee of Elgin Public Schools.

It uses a Swiss made, 17 jewel automatic which Elgin designated caliber 926.

It has a date function which flips exactly at midnight. I have newer Swiss watches that can’t do that.
