Late 50s Lord Elgin Briarwood

This model is differentiated from the Futura by its white veneer on the dial and bezel and the raised rim on the dial itself.

The case is 14k gold filled and although it is essentially an Futura, it earned a different case number, 7625.

It uses the 23 jewel, 730 movement.

While the white paint on the bezel has patina, and isn’t a bright as it might be, I’m very happy to have added the Briarwood to my collection.
