Elgin Thin Thin Case 9817

I’ve been looking for this dial variant for awhile. The dial and hands and movement arrived in great shape. The case, though had bent lugs and was toast. Luckily, I had an extra case in good shape.

The 27 jewel, 761 automatic is American designed and made. It was the first and last full rotor automatic designed by an American company to produced in the USA.

The Thin Thin line was made from 1959 through 1963 as far as I can tell.
