1953/54 Lord Elgin Chairman

In the 50s, the Chairman was one of the most expensive watches, excluding the 50 millionth, that you could buy at $200.  The case is 14k gold and the markers are 18k.

It is powered by the 626 movement, which has 21 jewels and is adjusted to 4 positions.

The crystal has a ridge that runs down the middle that matches the contour of the case.
