1942-1946 Elgin De Luxe with Roman Numerals

1942-1946 Elgin De Luxe with Roman Numerals

Added another watch to fill the Elgin De Luxe catalogue from 1942.  The movement dates to 1946, so I guess they kept the same watch designs fro the interwar period.

Overall, the watch is in nice condition.  It uses the 17 jewel, 555 movement, and it looks to be unadjusted. It is assigned case number 5705.

The dial has a gold hue to it (it seems this model had dials to match the case.  There is a white gold one with a black dial and a rose gold one with a corresponding rose gold dial as well) which goes with the 10k gold filled case.

I fitted it to a flat honey brown gator strap.
