Elgin Thin Thin L
I have had a couple of these Thin Thin L’s come through my hands, but usually both the dials and cases were beyond my tolerance levels of bad. While this case is a bit brassed in a few spots, it is heads and shoulders above what I’ve had before. Also, while the dial isn’t perfect, once again, it is better than anything else I’ve bought.
I had to replace the (not sure of the correct term) winding gear, and of course I polished and cleaned the dial and case. Additionally, I relumed the dial.
The case is 4448 and it is 10k rolled gold and it uses the 761, 27 jewel movement.
