1955 Elgin Surf

I think it is pretty obvious why I like this watch.  Despite the brassing to the lugs and case, that dial is simply unique and exquisite.

I did what I could to the case, despite the brassing.  From the top, it looks shiny and in this case, that’s good enough.

I found a NOS dial and put it on a brown sharkskin leather strap.
