1954 Elgin Seaward Self-Winding Watch

The Elgin Seaward uses case 6815.  It is 10K gold filled and uses the 643 Swiss made automatic movement.

Of course this watch is all about the ornate lugs.  There is some Speidel scarring on the inside of the lugs, but otherwise, the gold plating is in great shape.  The dial, in person, is much whiter than the photos show.  I put it on a shark skin strap, which, once again in person, is a muddy brown, rather than the red seen in my photos.
