Hamilton Khaki Navy Scuba Automatic

The Hamilton Khaki Scuba automatic watch(H64515333/H6451150) features features an ETA 2834-2 movement, a sapphire crystal, and water resistance to 330 feet.

This is a really good looking diver’s watch.  Even though Hamilton claims this is a 41 mm case, the dial is much smaller.

The things I like about this watch are the date and day displays.  I especially appreciate the full day display at 12 o’clock.  Additionally, this 25 jewel Swiss movement keeps great time and the curved rubber band is comfortable and wears well.

The one glaring negative and the pun is intentional, is the lack of anti-reflective coating on the sapphire crystal.  This crystal reflects every source of light available and at times makes the watch hard to read. If this watch had an anti-reflective crystal, I’d rate it a 10.  Without it, this otherwise fine watch falls to a 6.
