Lord Elgin 25 Jewel Swiss Automatic

As I find out more about this watch, I’ll add to the post.  I won the auction for $99 and the watch, for being 50 years old or so, looks like it was only brought out for special occasions.    The acrylic crystal has a few creases in it (but unless you hold it up to your eyes, you can’t even see them) and the rolled gold finish is probably at a 97% grade.  There just aren’t any worn through areas.  The dial is pristine, and when I have it serviced, I have the markers and hands cleaned where some dirt has built up.  Even the matching watch band is in amazingly good shape (and the bracelet is very comfortable as well–not hair puller!).

Here is what little information I have:

-Swiss movement, 25 jewels

-18,000 bph

-10K rolled gold

-waterproof

-32mm from bezel to bezel measured from 10 o’clock to 4.

If you have any information on the watch, like the year, the movement, and so on, please post it in the comments as it would be greatly appreciated.

Update, GeneJockey from Watchtalkforums informs me that the watch is probably from the early 60’s.
