The Elgin Thin Thin L uses the case number 4448 and is 10K gold filled. It is a one piece case and the movement and dial is extracted by removing the crystal and detaching the two piece stem. It uses the 27 jewel, 761 automatic movement. Finding this case without it being brassed is nearly impossible. This particular dial, as well, is difficult to find in decent shape, but I’ve always thought it was cool design and finally came across an acceptable example. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
