The inscription on the back dates it to 1966 and coincidentally it was issued to an employee of Elgin Public Schools.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It uses a Swiss made, 17 jewel automatic which Elgin designated caliber 926.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It has a date function which flips exactly at midnight.  I have newer Swiss watches that can&#8217;t do that.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery has-nested-images columns-default is-cropped wp-block-gallery-1 is-layout-flex
