The Elgin Pershing uses case number 5805, and is 10K solid gold. The Pershing falls on the “less” seen side of things. I actually have several NOS dials for the Pershing, but they must fit updated movements. I was able to find this black dial example, which compared to the original dial, is in decent shape, although the “Elgin” and “19” gilt have faded.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The watch doesn’t photograph well, but in person, the case, inner bezel, and gold hour markers shine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It uses the 19 jewel, 681 movement, which from the factory, was adjusted to 4 positions. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
