I’m really excited to have won this watch.  Over all, it is in excellent condition. One reason I love this watch is the rose gold case and dial.  While I’ve seen other Elgins with this combo, I think it is still relatively rare.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The case is 10K rose gold filled.  The crown must be original, as it is rose gold as well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The dial is really sharp and looks almost NOS.  It features a rose gold base offset by silver toned hands and hour markers.  If you look closely, the numerals have a machined finish.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The movement is the 17 jewel , 555.  The serial number on the watch puts it at 1945 or so.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Finally, there is the bracelet.  I doubt that it is original, but boy does it compliment the watch.  It is made by Kestenmade, and is 12k plated in rose gold, to match the watch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
