Sometimes referred to as driver’s watch, this 1952 Lord Elgin has flexible lugs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is in the 1952 catalogue and has a listing as 4625, which is the case number.  Elgin wasn’t using names at this point.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The case is 14K gold filled and the markers are 18K gold applied.  The model I have has a black dial.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Over all, it is in good shape, especially the dial.  The only brassing is on the caseback.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Update: I’ve also added a white dial version.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
