I picked up two versions of the 1957 Lord Elgin Dunbar, one in white gold fill, the other yellow gold.<\/p>\n
Interestingly enough, despite what the ad says, the white gold filled case is 10K, while the yellow gold case is 14k. Also, the yellow gold case version was a night glow model, with lume dots on the hours. \u00a0The white gold watch has no lume.<\/p>\n
Both watches use the 23 jewel, 730 movement. Both also have the same case number, 7614.<\/p>\n
The yellow gold watch came with a very dirty dial. \u00a0It cleaned up nicely, but I took off some of the lacquer, but it isn’t that noticeable under the crystal.<\/p>\n
The white gold watch dial, which is black, has some cracking the lacquer, but once again, it looks fine under the crystal.<\/p>\n\n\t\t
