I’m not really sure of the exact name of this model, especially since it has a custom Schlitz beer dial, but it does have the Clubman case.<\/p>\n
When I received it, most of the black enamel pant was mostly missing, so I found a small brush and filled in the rectangles.\u00a0 Additionally, I cleaned up the dial a bit and cleaned and buffed the crystal.<\/p>\n
At some point, I’ll replace the brown band with an appropriate black leather band.<\/p>\n
The reason I bought this watch was the dial.\u00a0 Most Clubman watches have the waffle dial, and for the most part, they always seem to be in poor shape.<\/p>\n
This custom model has a pearlescent, sunray dial, with a horizontal gold line running through it.\u00a0 Additionally, the second hand dial has gold markers every five seconds.<\/p>\n
And just for the record, in my college days, I was a fan of Schlitz dark beer–which I can no longer find.<\/p>\n
The case back looks very good, as well as the bezel, both of with are 14k gold filled.<\/p>\n
The movement is Elgin’s 680 manual movement which has 21 jewels.\u00a0 The case measure 30mm across and it has 16mm lugs.<\/p>\n\n\t\t
