I just received this Benrus alarm watch yesterday.\u00a0 I spent some time polishing the case and the crystal today and I added a nice black leather strap.\u00a0 I believe this watch uses a Swiss 17 jewel manual movement. From 10 to 2, it measures 34mm and the lugs are 16mm across. \u00a0 For being 50 years old, it is in great shape.\u00a0 The case band bezel have a few minor dings and scratches, but it looks almost new to me.\u00a0 An added bonus was that both crowns are original.<\/p>\n
I have photos below and below that, a video of the alarm in action.\u00a0 One nice thing about buying vintage is that instead of spending $3000-$4000 on a new Vulcain alarm watch, I have one for less than $150!<\/p>\n
