I’ve added the Elgin Wheaton to my collection. It is from 1953 or so and is part of the Swiss movement line of watches introduced by Elgin in the same year. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Wheaton is 14k gold and has 18k applied markers and hands. Its case number is 6902. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The movement is the 17 jewel, 644 automatic. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Wheaton, design wise, is accented with bowtie lugs and a faceted crystal the carries the crease in the lugs from end to end. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
