Spencer 1953"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>For quite awhile, I&#8217;ve been eyeing a couple of white gold Spencer cases on eBay. \u00a0With the Spencer, you need to have the original integrated band as it fits around or outside of the lugs. \u00a0A leather band or replacement bracelet just don&#8217;t look right.<\/p>\n<p>Finally, I found a NOS original Hadley band and I bought the case and movement off eBay.<\/p>\n<p>The Spencer is a cool little watch. \u00a0By little, \u00a0I mean little as it measures only 20mm across and 28mm long. \u00a0But its small size is enhanced by the flow of the case right into the bracelet and the brushed dial that changes shades depending upon the angle from which you view it.<\/p>\n<p>This particular Spencer is 10k white gold filled, with a case number of 5531.<\/p>\n<p>The 671 movement has 19 jewels. \u00a0According to Ranfft, it runs at 18,000bph and has a power reserve of 50 hours.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<style type=\"text\/css\">\n\t\t\t#gallery-1
