Elgin Freemont"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Fremont uses the 681, 19 jewel movement. \u00a0The case, 5733 is 10k gold filled.<\/p>\n<p>When it arrived, the dial has years of accumulated crud on it. \u00a0I used lemon juice to remove most of it. \u00a0While not perfect, it is much better than it was. \u00a0I sealed it with a coat of clear coat.<\/p>\n<p>The movement had winding and setting issues. \u00a0I swapped gears from a parts 680 movement and got it working.<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, I installed a new glass crystal.<\/p>\n<p>While not a perfect specimen, the decorated flared lugs
