{"id":1825,"date":"2013-10-11T03:01:23","date_gmt":"2013-10-11T03:01:23","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/grumpyguyinc.com\/?p=1825"},"modified":"2016-01-26T18:17:37","modified_gmt":"2016-01-26T18:17:37","slug":"benrus-wristalarm-3","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/grumpyguyinc.com\/?p=1825","title":{"rendered":"Benrus Wristalarm #3 Late 1940&#8217;s"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><del>I&#8217;m not sure of the date on this one and I will add it when I dig it up<\/del>.\u00a0 From what I can gather, this watch model from Benrus dates from the later 1940&#8217;s.\u00a0 The Schild movement which powers this was used from the 40&#8217;s through the 60&#8217;s.\u00a0 The model is the DS 15 movement,\u00a0 made by Adolf Schild.\u00a0 This movement has a 12 second alarm, a 46 hour power reserve, and beat at 18,000 bph.<\/p>\n<p>The watch measure 32 mm across. Compared to the other two Benrus wristalarms I own, this one is definitely louder.<\/p>\n<p>I had to send this off to the watch maker, who fixed the crown and stem which operated the alarm.\u00a0 In
